Barbecued Chicken
So for a month I've been trying to barbecue some chicken. Tonight I was finally able too. It has been a busy week. A WASC evaluation committee came and visited the High School, from Sunday through Wednesday. Also on Monday through Wednesday of this week my class has had a 2 hour drama practices for the our play. Then on thursday we practice for 4 hours and had our performance at 7:00 pm. Friday was a normal day of school but then we had a youth came and worship night. So I was really tired by the time we got home last night around 10:30 I was ready for bed, and I slept till noon. I felt so much better. When I got up we ran some errands and had in-n-out for breakfast well it was the first meal of the day. (3:oo) I had a 3x3 animal style no picles, fries and a dr. pepper. We then ran to the apple store, and stater bros Once back home I played on the wii for a little bit and then I decided to bbq some chicken. here is was I did.
2 pieces of boneless skinless chicken breast.
spiced with garlic salt, and McCormick's barbeque seasoning
and some Famous Dave's sweet and sassy sauce.

I didn’t add any honey to it, sweetheart, although it may add a different sweetness to it. I might have to try that next time.

Yeah, that’s what I’m talkin’ about! You can put Dave’s sauce on your car bumper and make a great meal!

pre step one locate grill
pre step two locate charcoal (do not every use propane; if you have one throw it away)
pre step three lighter fluid (don’t over use you want your food to taste grilled not soaked in flammable liquid)
step one light coals (arrange in pile (do it before you light them though))
step two wait
step three make sure coal are hot (they will look gray and ashy not black)
step four spread coals over evenly over the bottom
step five season meat (with some meats it’s best to season and marinate them several hours before if not the night before.
step six place meat on grill
step seven after a few minutes rotate 90 degrees (not flip) this gives it the diamond grill marks
step eight flip when the first side is done
step nine repeat step seven (but not eight)
step ten remove from heat when meat is cooked to you liking (for chicken thoroughly) (some say temperature is the best way to judge, I use tenderness.)
step eleven enjoy
how’s that becka?
not sure about the bumper jay but i’ve considered eating it right out of the bottle.
