okay so i’m unpacking stuff in my new apartment and i came across a stack of tickets stubs, receipts, and business cards, that kind of stuff. i’m going through it and i found a receipt from my senior trip in high school. it is to a bakery in alexandria virginia called la madeleine. i had bought an éclair there. i remember why i kept the receipt; it is because the éclair was so delicious i wanted to remember where i had gotten it. so now i am telling all of my faithful readers, if you are ever in alexandria virginia look up la madeleine and have an éclair. it will be worth your trip.
